- Make sure that the Handset can UNPLUG from the base of your phone.
- Make sure that the Dial Pad or Phone Numbers are located on the base of your telephone and NOT on the handset.
Selecting a Corded Phone Headset - Checking Compatibility
- The FIRST thing you need to look for is does your telephone have a Telephone Headset Jack?
- The most common Telephone Headset Jacks on business phones are a modular jack like a telephone jack in the wall. Another common telephone headset jack is a round circular 2.5 mm jack usually found on the side of a cordless phone at your house
- If your telephone does not have a Telephone Headset Jack then you would require a Telephone Headset Amplifier.
Telephones WITHOUT a Telephone Headset Jack - Compatibility
- Make sure that the Handset can UNPLUG from the base of your phone.
- Make sure that the Dial Pad or Phone Numbers are located on the base of your telephone and NOT on the handset.
- Once those check out you would require a Plantronics headset along with a Plantronics M22 Vista Amplifier. You can also select a GN Netcom headset along with a GN Netcom 8000 Amplifier.

Selecting a Conference Phone requires the sizing of the conference table or the amount of people conferencing. The other main thing to check is what type of phone line are you on? Conference Telephones require a Analog phone line however if you are using a Digital phone line you may purchase the Konexx Adapter in order to make it work.
